Teatox Day One
First Thing
- A glass of water with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
- A piece of fresh fruit
Breakfast
Choose from the following list:
- A large bowl of plain or fruit flavoured yoghurt made from sheep's or goat's milk with chopped banana, a sprinkling of pumpkin seeds and linseeds, and a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup
- Home made muesli recipe. The night before, soak two tablespoons of organic oatflakes in four tablespoons of apple juice and two tablespoons of filtered water. Next morning, stir in any quantity of chopped dried figs, dates, sultanas, and raisins, a good sprinkling of sunflower seeds, linseeds, chopped walnuts, flaked almonds and a grated apple. Mid Morning
- A glass of water

Lunch
A huge salad made by choosing items from the following list:
any dark leaf lettuce, avocado pear, capsicums, broccoli
florets, celery, chicory, chinese leaves, dandelion
leaves, fresh herbs, grated carrot, rocket, spanish
onion, tomatoes, watercress, white cabbage, young spinach
leaves. Sprinkle with sunflower and pumpkin seeds
Dressing:- one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil,
one teaspoon of cider vinegar, sea salt and black pepper.
Mid Afternoon
A cup of Twinings Pure Green Tea and some fresh fruit
Supper
A quick and easy vegetable soup recipe:
one tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, one organic onion, two large organic car rots, one small head of broccoli, one courgette, one small red pepper, one clove of garlic, sea salt and black pepper to season
Method
- In a large pan, sauté the sliced onion in a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
- Meanwhile, wash and chop the remaining ingredients and add them to the pan.
- Cover with filtered water and bring to the boil.
- Simmer until the vegetables are tender.
- Allow to cool so the mixture can be liquidised, then season
Before Bed
Relax, digest and unwind with a cup of Twinings Jasmine Green Tea.
